How to Make Coffee in a French Press

Instructions for making coffee in a French Press (watch the video to see this in action):

  1. Add 1-2 TBSP of course ground coffee per cup of coffee to the beaker/carafe.
  2. Heat water to approximately 205 degrees Fahrenheit (don’t add boiling water).
  3. Pour the water into the beaker, leaving at least one inch of space at the top.
  4. Place the plunger assembly into the beaker, but do not press down yet.
  5. Let the coffee brew for 4 minutes.
  6. After the 4 minutes, slowly push the plunger assembly all the way into the beaker.
  7. Ensuring the pour spout is in the open position, pour the coffee into your mug.
  8.  Enjoy the coffee.
