- Hey welcome to coffee, coffee, coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews, today’s coffee is from the rich coast, but does it have a rich taste? – So today we’re reviewing Caribou Coffee’s Costa Rica blend it is a light roast and it says it is supposed to be lively and balanced. So we have, or had high hopes for this bag. Because so far we’ve loved all the Caribou Coffee, like two, three different? – Yeah I can’t remember. – It’s just exceptionally good, it’s our favorite one – Is the medium roast. – the medium roast. Really good but, so this one so there’s not much they do have a 100% guarantee, enjoyment and freshness guarantee so if you’re not happy you can always get your money back. So– – and I’ll point out with the other one that we’ve done this is a light roast, they have another light roast called daybreak which we reviewed. – Yes and it was really good, that was what we used for our Halloween treat. Yeah and so this also is about $8 a bag generally speaking it’s you know a little bit on the higher end of pricing so we’ve found it to be worth it. – Well I say lets dig in. – Indeed. – And see what the rich coast has brought us this time, we have had other Costa Rican coffees before. – We have? – Yeah like 503 Costa Rica Teratsu. – Mhm it was really good. – So this smells like beans, we don’t typically like bean coffee. – Yeah and that was the first time we had this coffee, when I smelled it I just had a sense of dread because I was like oh no, it’s gonna be a coffee that I don’t really like. And– – yeah the first time I drank it I had just had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because I’m seven. But I thought the same thing, it had a beanyness and it wasn’t very pleasant and I maintain that. – Okay I will say this of all the beany coffees we’ve had this is the most enjoyable one to me. Like it’s got a little bit of beanyness, it’s not too bad. But it’s not I would buy again simply because it’s just beany and I just have an aversion to the beanyness, but again shows that brand, I mean is important but you may find you don’t like one of their roasts but you do like you know certain other ones in the same brand. So know that. – Right, yeah, it was sad though we were hoping that we could say Caribou Coffee you can’t go wrong. Go pick it up and you’ll enjoy it but the Costa Rican one we pass on, I would think probably we’d have to give it two doughnuts out of five. – Yeah two. – Because it is, it’s not a one. – It’s not a one. – Not like no thank you. – For me I’d probably go two and a half. – Yeah maybe. – ’cause I like to be precise. – But I’m gonna have to go with – Two? – Two, and a half doughnuts. – She just wants me to edit the doughnut so that I have to show a half a doughnut. So we’ll see what it looks like in the final product. – Doesn’t mean it’s a bad brand, just means you know for our taste, so we just don’t particularly like it. – This one just doesn’t fly. – Yeah sorry Caribou Coffee. – Yeah so if you’ve had this coffee or if you’d like to tell us in the comments what you thought about the coffee when you drank it or if you drink it after this review and you disagree, let us know. We wanna hear from ya and until next time. – Keep grindin. – [Man] Hey thanks for watching our reviews. Please be sure to subscribe and check out our other reviews here.
