Community Coffee Signature Blend Coffee Review

[spoiler title=’Click here to read the transcript. ‘ style=’default’ collapse_link=’true’]- Hey, welcome to Coffee Coffee Coffee, your place for average Joe coffee reviews. Today’s coffee is rich and bold, like Zsa Zsa Gabor.

– Today we are reviewing Community Coffee’s Signature Blend Dark Roast, which is supposed to be rich and bold.

– Here’s a question.

– Yes?

– This is a signature blend, but every bag has the owner’s signature.

– Right. So isn’t every blend their signature blend?

– Yes.

– I don’t know. So, 100% Arabica beans-

– All the way, Arabica.

– So it’s supposed to have really full body. It’s got this little indicator thing as a darker roast. It’s not all the way dark. There’s one more little…

– Circle. It’s 80% dark.

– There you go.

– And then brightness is low on the brightness scale.

– Only 20% bright.

– ‘Cause it’s so dark. Anyway yeah, so Community Coffee, the price is pretty good, $6.49, just regular price.

– Let’s take a swig.

– Yes.

– We’ve had hit or misses on Community Coffees. We’ll see how this one stacks up among the-

– Yeah, there’s two special blends we were not fans of but, there was that other blend.

– Yes.

– Medium something.

– House blend.

– House blend, yeah. So let’s talk about this one, though.

– I’m smelling around the coffee.

– I don’t think that’s a thing.

– I saw it on a video. But it wasn’t about coffee tasting.

– I like this coffee, too.

– Not to give away anything on the other review.

– Right, just in case it doesn’t get published in the right whatever. But this, to me, is a good cup of coffee.

– It’s smooth, too.

– It’s smooth and roasty and not offensive at all.

– No, and it does have more of a punch

– Bold. Didn’t it say bold?

– Rich and bold.

– That’s right, yeah, rich and bold. Yeah, I like it.

– It’s a good cup.

– It is a good cup, yeah. I would definitely buy it again, for sure.

– Matt Saurage would be happy.

– Yes.

– He’s the owner, by the way.

– Right, yeah, fourth generation I think. Something like that.

– They’re not all still alive I don’t think.

– Talking about the man’s father!

– And grandfather and great-grandfather.

– I think it does say.

– Or, great-grandmother. Maybe she started the business.

– No, Cap Saurage.

– She doesn’t have any hair!

– Cap Saurage is the man who started it all.

– His name was Cap?

– That’s Matt Saurage’s great-grandfather. Great-grandfather, grandfather, father, yeah, there we go. So Matt is the fourth generation.

– Ah, he was the captain in the imperial army.

– That is not true.

– Star Wars.

– Anyway, the point is.

– But overall this is good coffee.

– Yeah, good coffee. How many donuts would you give it out of five?

– I think I could go to four.

– Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing, like four. Bold coffees usually aren’t my favorite coffees. I kind of prefer a really nutty and roasty and chocolatey. But this is still really good, and I feel like especially the price point, that’s what really pushes it to four for me. With that kind of price point, yeah it’s good coffee.

– And it’s probably available in a lot of places for people, ’cause it’s a normal brand.

– Community, yeah.

– Well, if you’ve had Community Coffees or not and you’d like to know more about them or tell us more about them, then leave us a comment below and we’d be happy to discuss anything with you about coffee. But thanks for joining us and until next time-

– Keep grindin’.
