together so we’ll let you know how they how coffee tastes while sitting in them all right yeah okay so Kayla what coffee are we reviewing today this is Lavazza gran selezione which means in italian great selection yes great selection it is a dark roast it’s supposed to be intense and chocolatey now we should mention before we did this review this was the reigning champion coffee like we this was the one on our website where we said this is our favorite coffee and it was our favorite coffee before we started doing these reviews did it remain our favorite coffee right is the question so before we started paying attention well we were paying attention but we were right we were tasting coffee just drinking it yeah right and then just in our general tasting of regular drinking we said that’s really great coffee that’s our favorite coffee then we started reviewing coffees and we haven’t done a review on this coffee yeah we haven’t even had it since yeah like so it’s been months and months since we’ve had it and so you know so that could be a thing too but another thing was we we had done some other Lavazza and it wasn’t in the store at the time and I thought that maybe they changed but we found some so I guess they’re still making it mm-hmm anyway the point is well first of all how much did we buy it for it’s a more expensive coffee it was on sale for $5.99 yeah but generally it’s usually a bit more expensive than that it was usually like $8.99 for a bag that’s what it was on sale from yeah so alright so the question is do we still like it I shall we go yes see we both have blue mugs today matchy matcheson center state banks center state bank there you go we do not have an account at center state bank yet for what it’s worth yeah for you know so I think that this coffee I’m just kidding I’ve never banked there I will say that when we had the coffee before mm-hmm and I read on the bag that it was chocolatey mm-hmm I tasted chocolate right mm-hmm I don’t taste chocolate now mm-hmm and overall it is not my favorite coffee anymore it’s um it has a beanie taste which I have definitely come to find I do not like in coffee so now I think I can pick up on the beaniness of a coffee a lot easier because I’m paying attention to it so that’s one thing that makes me like not enjoy it as much they are all made from coffee beans but the beanie taste that she’s referring to you kind of like like well like beans you know how beans taste yeah it’s kind of like you smell it and that is something too like I feel like this has mellowed a bit since we’ve been drinking it like the first day when we drank it the beanie taste was like really strong to me but now it doesn’t seem that way anymore speaking of beans in Italian words the Italian word for bean is fagiolo there you go and fagioli for the plural multiple beans yeah speaking of Italian that is I mean this is an Italian coffee it’s known by their tagline as Italy’s favorite coffee we asked some Italians in Italy in Italy and they said it’s popular over there yeah they know what I would say like it’s kind of like Folgers saying you know it’s America’s favorite cup of coffee well maybe not necessarily right right it’s marketing yeah to clarify we weren’t in Italy when we asked the people how I wish we were I was talking to them online about it but yeah me too but anyway so overall yeah it is Rainforest Alliance certified mm-hmm it’s a 12 ounce bag so that’s good too but and it’s you know it’s an Italian coffee it’s not like grown in Italy but it’s it’s they’ve been around since 1895 the Lavazza family started brewing then so yeah still just kind of sad that it’s not my favorite coffee anymore yes I love Italy and I really liked that I liked an Italian coffee was our favorite coffee but now not so much we still do you have to review perfetto which is it was my my favorite my personal favorite I thought we did that one already no we did classico and gran aroma so we’ve got one more hmm are you sure did you check the chart I forgot to check I’m pretty sure I was at the store the other day and I looked at the chart on our website coffee coffee coffee show.com mm-hmm and it showed that we have reviewed perfetto hmm and that’s why I didn’t get any oh so I’m betting you ten dollars but so you’ll find out in the comments below if I was right or she was right or you could the same information right the website is the most comprehensive right yeah but yeah so overall overall I don’t think yeah I would buy it again mean yeah I wouldn’t buy this particular bag again I mean maybe maybe perfetto I would still buy that not even at $5.99 $5.99 I mean it’s it’s a maybe it would depending on what else is in the stor right then I mean I wouldn’t like not drink it but it’s not my favorite that’s interesting how when you can think something is your favorite like you had all these different kinds of coffees and you say this one is our favorite right and then you actually ya start to taste and compare and all that kind of stuff and then yeah it’s kind of like you know when you’re a kid you think steak is good and then your like ooh I love steak yeah but then that maintains the truth throughout the rest of your life but then like you go to a fancy restaurant when you grow up and you have like a filet mignon for the first time yes and then the cheap steaks don’t seem as good anymore still steak still good but it’s different I think that’s true all right well if you’ve tried this coffee or any others that you like for us to try let us know yeah and also we
