– Today we are reviewing McCafe French Roast by McDonald’s. Actually it’s technically Kraft does the coffee. They license the McDonald’s name. It’s French Roast Bold and Dark. That’s what they say it should taste like. No other notes, just bold and dark.

– They want you to know or figure it out on your own. We bought this at Public’s and we paid $6.29 for the bag. Which is about $8.39 exactly per pound. You could probably get it cheaper if you buy it in bulk on Amazon. Buy the can or something like that.

– We did see it cheaper on Amazon.

– They said bold and rich. What do we think?

– Bold and dark.

– That’s pretty much what I taste. Bold, kind of roasty. It’s nice, I like it. I like it as a cup of coffee. It’s not bitter. Some french roast can be kinda bitter. You really don’t like bitter.

– Almost like tangy sometimes. Some french roast can be like… There’s like a ting. This doesn’t have it. You don’t test that, I see that. We’re different people. But we do agree most of the time on coffee’s.

– I’m surprised with the McCafe’s. I didn’t have very high hopes for it, because it’s like McDonald’s. Good coffee, I think.

– So far, we’re doing alright. I think we did say we got… It is bold.

– Earthy?

– I thought earthy too. But it doesn’t dry your mouth out or anything like that. Overall what would you say?

– Three.

– Three?

– Um hum.

– Yeah, cause it’s not cheap, but it is good.

– If was a little cheaper a little bit higher. I think overall it was good. I would buy it again.
