– So today we’re reviewing McCafe’s Espresso Roast and it’s supposed to be strong and spirited.
– Pocahontas.
– What?
– Strong and spirited. I don’t know.
– And it’s a medium dark roast, so basically all you get is strong and spirited, which isn’t all the coffee flavor, Will, but we shall see.
– Yeah, it doesn’t really tell you anything.
– Yeah, yeah. It is rainforest alliance certified which just means that basically the farm goes by certain standards to help protect the ecosystem.
– Right. Good stuff. Keeps people honest.
– The question is, is it any good?
– We will see. I’ll try.
– I tend to like the darker roasts, so.
– Hot mug. Smells good. The coffee in the bag smells good. Coffee smells good.
– So I like this coffee a lot, like, again, McCafe surprisingly is there any that I didn’t like? I don’t think so.
– I can’t remember. You’ll have to check out the old reviews.
– Yeah, you’ll have to check out the other reviews, but it’s been a consistently– I didn’t have high hopes for the brand. It’s been a consistently solid brand.
– Yeah, and we paid for a twelve ounce bag, we paid just over $6 so it’s about $8.50 per pound. But you can get it cheaper if you buy it in the canister on amazon or something like that if you want it, and you want to have a lot of it.
– I mean so it’s not the cheapest, but it’s also not the most expensive but good. Nutty, I would say.
– Yeah, certainly I’m getting nutty. Like that right?
– And maybe rich too?
– Yeah, certainly. Nutty and rich I would say.
– It’s espresso.
– Yeah. But it’s not espresso.
– No, no, no. So I would say maybe three and a half donuts?
– Three and a half, yeah, yeah.
– Some of the others we gave three, you know this one’s three and a half I think.
– A strong three and a half.
