[spoiler title=’Click here to read the transcript. ‘ style=’default’ collapse_link=’true’]- Hey welcome to, Coffee, Coffee, Coffee, your place for place for average Joe coffee reviews. Today’s coffee is made with lucious vanilla.

– So today we are reviewing, New England Coffee’s French Vanilla.

– French Vanilla, do you suppose french vanilla is like a slang word in France, or a phrase for a guy who is there, but he’s just kind of blah.

– I don’t think so, no. But this coffee is supposed to be medium roasted, smooth and luscious vanilla is what is says. So I guess that’s the flavor you should taste, smooth and luscious.

– Luscious. So, yeah, pretty much all you get from the bag.

– ‘Lushoir’

– Naturally and artificially flavored, so which real vanilla is really expensive right now.

– Yeah

– ‘Cause the whole Madagascar thing.

– Yeah, the penguins.

– No.

– Did they steal all the vanilla?

– No, no. There was like a shortage of vanilla I think there was a bad crop or something.

– Ahh

– Right

– So yeah, so prices.

– It was buy one get one at Publics, you know, so it was like $7.99 normal price, so buy one get one that’s like $4.00 a bag.

– Easy math.

– Oops I got mine first.

– That’s okay.

– Oops.

– I’m an equal opportunity coffee drinker person.

– But he wouldn’t drink mine, ’cause vanilla.

– No.

– Not vanilla.

– [Both] Half and half.

– It does have vanilla in it.

– Yes. Luscious vanilla.

– So this coffee, yes. First of all the smell right, is like, this has a smell, but-

– But it actually smells like the Dollar Tree french vanilla coffee.

– That’s exactly what I was going to talk about in this review, and we didn’t even discuss it before. But it really does, and really, when it comes to the taste-

– The other one’s better.

– You think the other one’s, I was just going to say, I feel like they’re very very similar.

– It felt like the other on had more flavor, like a little bit more like-

– Maybe a little bit. This one doesn’t have, like when I think of french vanilla, like it doesn’t have as much.

– Right.

– But you know what it did remind me of, when I first started drinking coffee, that was at Piedmont our college,

– We don’t own the college-

– No, right,

– That’s where we met.

– The college we attended, and that’s where we met, but I would go to that coffee shop on the corner, it was like a bakery but it did have really good coffee, or at least back then I thought it was really good coffee. I think it probably was good coffee. But the kind I would always get was the french vanilla, and I’d put a lot of sugar in it. But still it reminded me like, when I took the first sip of this it was like, aww, I kind of forgotten about that.

– I used to go to the gas station, and get french vanilla capucino, you know you’d put the cup under there and press the button, and it goes You drink it. That was back in the late ’90s.

– Some fond memories.

– Yeah-

– Of french vanilla.

– Everyday poppin’ in there.

– Yeah, but so the real question is like would we buy again, what would we rate it.

– I think that I wouldn’t buy it again based on if you can find that Dollar Tree.

– What if you couldn’t?

– Well.

– ‘Cause this one’s, I mean pretty cheap, because even when it’s not BOGO, you can find it for four something a bag at Walmart.

– Yeah it kind of falls in line with a lot of the other New England coffees, it’s not a fancy.

– Yeah, it’s not. It’s like.

– That’s weird right, all that stuff about those.

– It’s the shaky factor.

– You could make music with it.

– You can because it’s a coarser grind.

– That’s because its fringe.

– So there’s not as much flavor I feel like, same amount of coffee, less flavor. But you know I’ve heard that about New England food is a bit more bland. That’s what my parents said, I don’t really know if anyone else feels that way. We’ve never been there, but maybe that’ll change.

– But anyway, if New England Coffee your go to brand, and you’re mad at Kayla for saying what she just said about New England-

– Don’t be mad.

– Let us know in the comments below and we’d be happy to try other coffees that you recommend, as long as we can find them for reasonable prices.

– But thanks for joining us-

– Wait, wait, wait-

– What, what did we say-

– We didn’t do the donut rating.

– Oh donuts, what do you think I was going to say.

– I thought maybe like a 2.5

– 2.5, that’s, man we are like,

– It’s amazing see I felt like we had already said it. So 2.5 donuts our of 5.

– Right.

– Now, again, thanks for joining us and until next time-

– Keep grinding.
