Peet’s Coffee Major Dickason’s Blend Review

National Coffee Day I was gonna wait to announce that oh sorry it’s weird having to talk to you and then look but I’m looking over there well how do I talk to you should I talk to you should I look at that or should I look at that either way all right let’s get started we have about 1,500 people in here so that should be good so welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews and as we okay we got fifteen hundred and one people as we mentioned previously today is National Coffee Day yeah which means that I don’t know we drink coffee coffee well another cup yes and it’s your mom’s birthday yes and it’s Anthony’s birthday fitting for them to have this Wow National Coffee Day on their birthday mm-hmm so today we are reviewing a new coffee of course and Kayla what coffee is that well we are reviewing Pete’s coffee with and their Major Dickason’s Blend yeah I think I pronounced that right it is supposed to be a dark roast rich complex and full-bodied and which is the same definition of a previous review of a community coffee that cafe special oh right was rich full full-bodied so bad oh man so we’ll see how does that compare right so but there’s a nice story that goes along with this coffee let’s hear it so Major Dickason was actually a real live person he was a loyal customer at Pete’s coffee house and his name was key Dickason and he was a sergeant a retired sergeant in the army but he worked with Mr. Pete to form like a really nice blend of coffee and they’re really good friends and everything and so Mr. Pete decided to name the coffee after him and he even gave him a promotion to major yeah what’s wrong with sergeants nothing is wrong with sergeant because you were a sergeant in the Marine Corps right yes and so it is their all-time bestseller so this is not only is Pete’s good coffee but this is the best of the best as far as sellers go right so maybe it’s just a thing that people have it’s like that patriotic thing mm-hmm and we should talk about price right so of course I bought it this morning at Publix it was $7.99 for a 12 ounce bag so that comes out to what it is a 1065 a pound and depending on what it tastes like did you smell it I did smell it smelled like coffee I hope so because we’ve had two bags of really bad coffee for the last week and a half feels like yeah for at least two weeks yeah bad coffee yeah so we’re gonna try this one on this special live version of coffee coffee coffee National Coffee Day yeah sorry for the way that audio and video is this is how we have to do the live version for now but we will be getting a webcam and we’ll hook it up with a regular microphone in the future yes right you ready to taste it yeah I’ll see if I can hold the camera still this might be the best hold it why don’t I hold it I’m I’m better at holding the camera I think we all know this it’s true you can say anything you might not even be able to tell that I am holding the camera it’s so still actually now that my my efforts are divided between no I got it no I hold still let me hold strong you’re going to spill it all over yourself I will say what is different about this review is that one we have a visitor at the door two that we normally drink the coffee several times before we review it yeah we just got this today so it’s a brand new blend right or brand new tasting right you’re gonna have a visitor over there with no shirt it’s Elijah say hi to everyone Elijah Hi okay go play please yeah so this coffee I’m trying to you know it normally takes me a while to really get a feel for coffee yeah did we talk about the 2tbsp thing yeah this no this is two tablespoons per six fluid ounce cup yeah and so that’s what they recommend is doing two tablespoons and I I really like this coffee I can already tell even though we’ve all had I mean I think I’ve had this blend before over at your mom’s but I do like the dark roasts and you are more of a light medium I’m like yeah I’ll have a medium mm-hmm medium person just like my skin tone my muscle mass medium build yeah it’s not my favorite for $10 a pound I’d find something else I really enjoy I’m actually enjoying it the further down in the cup I go now I’m getting better that’s the thing I might sometimes I do sometimes they don’t it just depends on the type of coffee it is like it it’s um like what’s that word it’s not bitter but it’s well it’s better almost a bitter flavor it’s borderline yeah it’s like it’s a dark it is a dark roast which I like it’s like got a nutty chocolaty maybe a little bit chocolaty in there I just have to like what I have said in the past is that it helps for me to know can I get to the bottom of the mug and like it the way through if I can’t finish the mug then I just don’t like the coffee yeah rich and complex um what are you doing? I’m using the crane can just like in the movies mm-hmm yeah I think overall it’s a winner yeah it’s me it’s getting better uh as I drink it – otherwise it’s different yeah but I would buy it again maybe you wouldn’t but I totally would well as long as you’re living with me well we can have several coffees at some point right sure okay anything else to add on it all right so she would buy it again I might if it were on sale maybe oh sorry that’s our visitor again squeaking on the window thanks for joining us for this special version of coffee coffee coffee because today is National Coffee Day and if you want to follow us we’re on facebook youtube and instagram at coffee coffee coffee sorry about the squeakys and our website is coffee coffee coffee show.com see you later[/spoiler]
