[spoiler title=’Click For Transcript’] hey welcome to Coffee Coffee Coffee this is your place for average Joe coffee reviews and today the average coffee is community coffee and it’s the New Orleans blend –*jazz trumpet imitation*–that’s me on Bourbon Street oh okay I feel like I’m there so it is a special dark roast mm-hmm it is supposed to be rich and vibrant aha it’s not their darkest roast it’s like a four out of five on roast body and then it’s a three out of five on brightness whatever that means yeah I don’t know how citrusy it is–i guess–I don’t know well there you go and it’s 100% Arabica beans doesn’t give us like where the beans come from or anything like that –the community– well actually the guy who started this company he did name it community coffee in honor of the community but no particular community know well his local community which apparently maybe was Baton Rouge –oh really–that’s where it was packed so they do they have a Baton Rouge blend I don’t think so I don’t know New Orleans blend anyway yeah so we will find out did he love New Orleans or hate New Orleans by the way that he flavored the coffee the New Orleans blend that’s right and he probably has no idea because he’s long gone I’m sure he is because the company started in 1919 which is 98 years ago depending on what month right it was we’ll call it 98 yeah speaking of numbers how much did we pay for this coffee it was $5.00 for this twelve ounce bag it’s not a bad price no it’s pretty cheap actually yeah for twelve ounces for ounces but it does say to use two tablespoons right so essentially that means it’s $10 for a 12 ounce bag if you use twice as much as what most coffees call for for one tablespoon for six fluid ounce cup right right right so we have tried it with the two tablespoons per six fluid ounce cup this is one tablespoon per six fluid ounce up and this morning I tried it with two heaping tablespoons per 12 oz cup because I was feeling saucy yeah I was still asleep yes he was it was awesome Saturday morning yep I woke up at like five yeah I didn’t so we’re gonna try it now and let you know what we think with both the tablespoon and the heaping and the two I like green mugs if you ever want to send me a mug yeah I just think it’s a disappointing cup of coffee overall like I’ve not liked any of the cups regardless of how many scoops or non-scoops yeah I will say if you’re following the profile of the coffee’s that I like I like it better with one tablespoon as opposed to the two so I mean you save money and also it tastes a little bit better I think but still you can buy coffee that is the same price or less yeah that’s better so I would pass yeah I would totally pass I would not buy it again yeah not this blend I I think we do like some other Community Coffees but just not this blend we’ll find out we’ll find out yeah there is however an instant win game which we have not played yet and we will try see maybe we will win a million dollars I don’t even know what it says like is it Tailgate Traditions ooh tailgate traditions I don’t know anybody that takes their coffee when they go tailgating yeah but did we win anything we won 55 cents off our next Community Coffee purchase it doesn’t have to be New Orleans blend does it no it does not so we will let you know which one we use it on assuming that we like other coffees if we end up liking the other one we review then we’ll go for a third bag and and let you know mm-hmm anything else on this coffee coffee he’s going through puberty I was singing oh okay that was me on I don’t know any other streets in New Orleans No Bourbon Street and what’s that other one Mardi Gras Street no no Bourbon Street’s in the French Quarter right right I think we’re right on my older brother was just recently there and he’s not said it smelled like urine and needed a bar of deodorant so we probably won’t be going to New Orleans anytime soon maybe not in the heat yeah just go in the in the winter maybe he just hit it on an off day I’ve been in New Orleans and I loved it but I was like eight so it’s been a long time I don’t know you were closer to the urine smell also I don’t remember any urine smell there we go plenty of fine folk that are watching this from New Orleans I didn’t say they smelled well thank you for joining us if you’d like to find us in other places just don’t listen to the place that you’re listening to now as I list where we’re at we are on YouTube at Coffee Coffee Coffee show Facebook Coffee Coffee Coffee Show Instagram Coffee Coffee Coffee Show and CoffeeCoffeeCoffeeShow.com where you can find our coffee table that has all the reviews that we’ve done and it outlines what we would buy what we wouldn’t buy the flavor profiles price per pound all that kind of stuff mm-hmm right anything to add that’s it you want to tell them our tagline don’t waste money on coffee we’re still working on it.
