– Okay, so today we are reviewing, New England Coffee’s Donut Shop Blend.
– That’s right!
– It’s light roasted. It’s supposed to be smooth and delicious.
– Smooth.
– Now this is…
– Like Ben Affleck.
– Yeah, so it’s not the first New England Coffee…
– No.
– we’ve reviewed. I think this is the third, right?
– Somewhere around there.
– Would you stop that accent? It’s horrible. The company has been around for over four generations, according to the bag. So, we weren’t real big fans of… the other roast of New England Coffee, but someone did recommend this brand. Specifically said, Donut shop Blend.
– So we said, lets give it a whirl.
– Yeah, so yeah.
– And you bought this one, right? Do you remember… How much it was?
– I think it was like…
– For the bag.
– This was the one, remember I paid like eight dollars a bag for at Publix. And then we got home and looked on Google Express, and it was like $3.99 at…
– Target.
– Target, yeah so we kind of paid a bit more.
– Paid double, then what we could have, but we have it here now.
– Yes.
– And we’ve been drinking it for a couple of days.
– We have.
– So we’ll go right into it, and let you know what we think.
– Yeah. Alright.
– Oops, my mug was stuck to the chair. Smells a little like beans. A little like beans.
– Yeah. I’m just gonna smell the bag, or the coffee in the bag. Because I think I remember a smell. Yeah, there’s not much of a smell in that one.
– Yeah.
– So, what I will say about this coffee is… much like the other two New England coffee’s. There’s just not a whole lot of flavor there.
– Yeah.
– It’s kind of watery to me. It’s not offensive like the other ones. It’s just kind of…
– Yeah, it’s just kind of bland. I think that if we… I mean, I don’t want to buy it again.
– No, especially for the price that we paid. I mean, if it had been… What was it, three dollars?
– Four dollars.
– Yeah, four dollars a bag is like… I still wouldn’t buy it. I mean it’s… not offensive, it’s just kind of like I want more flavor.
– Mm hmm.
– And that’s the bottom line.
– So I think probably… Two.
– Two, yeah.
– Two donuts out of five on that one. Well, anyway I think that’s all I have for this review. Not much to talk about on it.
