Great Value Colombian Coffee Review

[spoiler title=’Click here to read the transcript. ‘ style=’default’ collapse_link=’true’]
hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your
place for average Joe coffee reviews

today’s copy is medium dark much like my
skin on the farmer’s tan portion so

today we are reviewing great values 100%
Arabica Colombian ground coffee right not

just a great value it’s the name of it I was confused at first, but yeah price on this was

the bag is 388 so it’s 5:17 a pound
which is darn close to what we call

super cheap a little bit above we say five
dollars a pound

I think that’s close enough look at the
bag it’s just it’s so interesting yes

they can see it they did a very good job I thought very festive yeah very Colombian

I would imagine I’ve never been to
Colombia but you know what’s interesting

it has a toucan on the bag I didn’t
realize that and my initial opening for

this coffee was going to be today’s
coffee is bright and fruity like toucan

sam and there he is right there on the bag yeah I like that
intro better maybe we should go back so

this coffee yeah so it’s a medium dark
roast and it’s supposed to be bright and

fruity and so great value we should say
we like when he would you stop it when we first

when we first bought this or when you
brought it in I was pretty mad that you

bought a bunch of great value coffee
for us to review but so far yeah so good

so mmhmm how about this one yeah so bright
and fruity is what it says but medium

dark so

I gotta say I really like this one too
like so far none none of the great value

brands have been or great value blends
have been bad right to me or roasts well

yeah you know what I mean we know you all
know what we mean

right mm-hmm but yeah I think I mean
it’s roasy it’s always hard for me

with the whole fruity thing the fruit
thing is always hard because I do drink

the half-and-half with it yeah and
cancels out the fruitiness I think it’s

it’s harder to the detect maybe I don’t know
do you kind of get any fruity like an

acidity yeah there is an acidity acidity
yeah we just that’s a word yeah we just um we would you stop it

just had some like darker coffee like an
espresso type roast and so we’re

contrasting it right now and so I
definitely can tell how this one is

more acidic and kind of brighter yeah
yeah it’s pleasing to drink yeah just

yeah yeah like pleasing like I would say
smooth like right yeah smooth

I think the Colombian yeah a
crowd-pleasing Pablo Escobar super cheap and

hey like if you got a big party or
something you need to buy a whole bunch

of coffee I’d say go with a great value
yeah people might be really mad at us

like how could you like great value coffee
I think is really good tell all the people

at your party you’re serving a single
origin Colombian coffee yeah well and I

know I mentioned this on another review
but really it it got like Consumer

Reports did a thing a blind taste test
with this versus Starbucks and people

couldn’t tell the difference it was it
was particular but particularly the

Colombian particular we have a
particular yeah the Colombian coffee

that’s what they they did and people
prefer the great value over Starbucks

and I gotta say I think I would too I
mean maybe that’d be a good video to do

like yeah but I actually do a blind
taste test of our own yeah maybe so what

would you say for donuts on this one I’d
like some donuts right now Oh

Donuts would be delicious um three and a
half or four for me yeah I think

probably a four yeah I’d say four
yeah because it’s so easy to drink and

it’s super cheap and it’s just not like
I really enjoy these these cups of

coffee that we’ve had like you know it’s
not like I’ve gotta get through this

cheap coffee it’s just like this is
really good four four donuts out of five

so have you braved the coffee aisle and
found yourself looking at great value

thinking I don’t know about that
and decided to pass or did you grab

some especially this Colombian what did
you think about it yeah I know that

there are people out there because when
I go to the store and I’m standing there

in the coffee aisle it’s the same
situation as when we were standing in

coffee aisle and we said what are we
supposed to get I see people every time

they’re staring and just looking at
different things

and so I see people standing there
looking at the coffee wondering which

one am I supposed to get I don’t even
know like I’m trying these one of these

days I’ll tell them to make sure they
check out our channel because we’re

introverts and we don’t do that it’s
difficult to do but anyway let us know

your thoughts in the comments below and
if you want people to be watching these

reviews because you see the same people
in the grocery store doing what we see

you tell them for us about the channel watch
this channel well anyway thanks for

joining us for this review and until
next time keep grindin

  1. Please review Costco’s Kirkland brand coffees, especially the kind that comes in a 3 pound can. Thank you!

    1. That’s on our list to review! Many people are requesting it. Have you tried it before?
