[spoiler title=’Click here to read the transcript. ‘ style=’default’ collapse_link=’true’]- Hey, welcome to Coffee Coffee Coffee, your place for average Joe’s coffee reviews. Today’s coffee is from Columbia, but don’t worry, it’s not going to ask you to join its record club.
– So today we’re reviewing Gevalia coffees or cafes. Not sure how to pronounce that. – Cafes
– Columbia medium bodied rich and bright medium roast.
– Right.
– So yeah, it’s part of their passport collection because different countries and what not.
– Right.
– So it’s supposed to just be rich and bright, and that’s pretty much
– 100% Arabica coffee.
– Yeah, it’s from Columbia.
– Right.
– I mean 100% Columbian coffee.
– Right.
– So there you go, Arabica beans.
– Right. I guess we’ll see what kind of coffee comes from Columbia. You can get 13 beams for one penny.
– It’s part of the record club.
– Do you remember how much this one costs?
– Yes. It was on sale from 8 dollars and 39 cents. We got it on BOGO, but $8.39 for a 12oz pack.
– Yeah, so not the cheapest.
– Nah.
– Kind of expensive, but.. So what do you think?
– Gevalia coffee, cafe. It’s always good.
– It is. It’s maybe not my favorite brand but it seems to consistently be good coffee.
– Right.
– There hasn’t been any that has been like ugh ugh it’s horrible.
– Yeah They’re all good coffees.
– Which we’ve only reviewed a few so far, but it’s good.
– I get a little bit of nuttiness. It’s kind of rich.
– Uh huh.
– Caramel.
– Yeah, caramel. And, kind of like some other coffees that we’ve had that after you drink it, that smokiness. It’s kind of a good smoky. Not like you’re stuck in an elevator, but like somebody who’s smoking cigarettes or something.
– Right, yeah.
– But a good smokiness like you want. Like smoked barbecue.
– So overall, what would we rate it, you think?
– I think because of the price, I’d have to stick with a three.
– Yeah, I think. Three, almost a three and a half.
– Maybe three and a half.
– Three and a quarter.
– Yeah, three and a half. We don’t want to confuse everybody, right?
– Right yeah.
– We do three and a half donuts out of five.
– Three and a half or three. I don’t know. Three and a half.
– I think three and a half.
– Yeah, three and a half.
– It’s tasty, and readily available.
– Right, yeah.
– And I think good overall.
– Yeah, there you go.
