– So today, we are reviewing Barissimo’s House Blend, which is all these coffee.
– All these coffees. You tried all these coffees? No.
– So, it’s 100% Arabica coffee.
– All of it?
– It’s a dark roast. So, that’s pretty much all they tell you on the bag, they don’t really tell you the flavors or anything. Just, dark roast. Which we kinda know what that means. But, the question is.
– It was cheap coffee, you were gonna ask.
– It was very, very, very cheap.
– I’m telepathetic.
-Yeah. Without the tele.
– 3.79 for the bag, so 5.03, 5.05 a pound. Sorry about that three cent lie, two cent lie, I just don’t. I can’t do math things. Alright, let’s try it.
– Yeah. See how we feel about this $5.05 per pound coffee.
– I like this. Especially for the price.
– Yeah, it’s smooth. Yeah, it’s very smooth. I was wish it had a little bit more, flavor, yeah a little more oomph. But.
– They should Gosh.
– check with the name sake. Prince Barissimo,
– Yeah. which is totally made up, by him.
– Maybe. Yeah, I think it’s good. It’s very drinkable, there isn’t, not bitter, but it’s roasty and nice. I like it.
– I thought so too.
– Smooth, easy to drink.
– But, what should we rate it?
– I don’t know, it’s cheap. But, it doesn’t have a whole lot of flavor like you said.
– Yeah. It’s smooth, nothing offensive, you know, some flavors you can kinda tell they’re there, but not really.
– Right. No real like, this is really enjoyable. It’s just.
– Right, yeah.
– It’s just like, hey for the price, that’s a good cup of coffee.
– I think I might go size three and a half.
– I was thinking
– Told you. the exact same thing.
– Telepathetic. Okay, yeah.
– Is that right? That’s right. So Barissimo, sorry.
– Yes? I was just gonna say, is this the last of the Barissimo? At this point, we’ve done all of them?
– That I can find in the store.
– Yeah, that we can find in the store. So overall, for Barissimo, I think it’s a line worth exploring.
– Like a 50/50, I think.
– It’s worth exploring though, ’cause it’s so cheap. It’s not much of a gamble. We’ve had our, you know, our good experiences, and our, you know, like nah experiences. But overall, very surprising for the price.
– Yeah I know, when we first bought it, I thought great, $4 a bag, this is not gonna be any good.
– Yeah.
– But it’s good that, if you can go into the tasting with that type of thought, and then come out with a, huh, that was surprising.
– Yeah. We try not to be name conscious. Is that the thing
– Right, yeah. I’m trying to say?
– Or brand conscious or anything. We do really try to be like, blank slate, let’s just try this.
– We even gave a Peet’s Coffee a lower rating.
– Oh, certainly.
– We’ve given Dollar Tree coffee really good ratings too, so it’s really not about price.
– We’re fair,
– But although. and balanced. We report, you decide. Okay, we don’t even watch the videos.
– We don’t.
– Not since 2012, anyway.
– Oh, gosh. That’s when we stopped.
